Live in Costa del Este / Family neighborhoods

7 Panama City neighborhoods for families

By a Costa del Este resident · Reviewed: · How we make the guide

For walkable family life by the bay, start with Costa del Este; if the school is in Clayton or Albrook, look near that campus first. We compare seven Panama City areas on the same six questions (housing, schools, errands on foot, green space, connections and the main tradeoff), without an overall winner.

Same questions, seven areas

Criteria: housing, schools, errands, green space, connections and the main tradeoff. Nearby does not establish a walkable route from every home. San Francisco is a broad corregimiento (an administrative subdivision of Panamá district); Punta Pacífica is compared separately as a neighborhood within it.
